(Review & Giveaway) Fall For You By: Cecilia Gray

Hello! Thank you to ATOMR Book Blog Tours for letting me participate in this great tour! Today I have a Review for Cecilia's Gray's Fall For You. Also there is a huge Giveaway, and down below you will see that, so do check it out! Thanks for stopping by :)

To say Lizzie and Dante are polar opposites is the understatement of the century. He’s a snooty Exeter transfer with more money than Google. She’s a driven study-a-holic barely keeping up with tuition. It’s obvious that Dante thinks he’s way too good for Lizzie. And Lizzie knows Dante is a snob with a gift for pushing her buttons.

But things are changing fast this year at the Academy. And when Lizzie’s quest to stop those changes blows up in her face, taking her oldest friendship with it, she has nowhere else to turn but to Dante, with his killer blue eyes, his crazy-sexy smile, and his secrets… Secrets Lizzie can’t seem to leave alone, no matter how hard she tries…

Series Trailer (Nicely Done!)

Fall For You is the first book in the Jane Austen Academy Series, and I must say, that this first one was wonderful, and the rest of the series looks promising. I just love this whole concept, of having these inspired characters from Jane Austen's novels, in a more modern setting, a high school setting, and to have it set at a prestigious school that of course must be named, The Jane Austen Academy. Seeing the trailer above got me really excited for the upcoming books, so be sure to watch that; it's really well done! Now back to Fall For You. This first book is based on the beloved Pride And Prejudice. I believe that Gray did a wonderful job in writing as she was really descriptive and creative.
Aspiring Journalist, Lizzie, and now fellow wealthy school mate Dante [great name for a Darcy :) ] were the characters we focus on, but we also look at a situation that can threaten The Jane Austen Academy forever, with the help of the new Headmistress. I think the conflict and oh yes, the not so friendly vibe between Lizzie and Dante were written and described well. Lizzie, here, seems to not like sudden change, and when she returns to school in the Fall, that seems to happen a lot: some good, and some well, just not. Dante has some secrets, and you may be surprised to what it is, as Lizzie was.
While reading, it was a bit fun to distinguish the characters here to the characters from Jane Austen's Pride And Prejudice. This story just has a good feel to it, and I definitely wanted to read more once I was done. This is a great read, and I recommend it! :)
My Rating: 4.3/5

Author Bio
Cecilia Gray lives in Oakland where she reads, writes and breaks for food. She also pens her biographies in the third person. Like this. As if to trick you into thinking someone else wrote it because she is important. Alas, this is not the case.
Cecilia has been praised for “instilling a warmth and weight into her characters”  (Romancing The Book Reviews) and her books have been praised for being “well-written, original, realistic and witty” (Quills & Zebras Reviews).
Several of her titles - including A Delightful Arrangement (The Gentlemen Next Door #1) and An Illicit Engagement (The Gentlemen Next Door #2) - have spent, in her view, a shocking amount of time on bestseller lists for romance, historical romance and regency romance in the US, UK, Italy and Spain.
Her latest release, FALL FOR YOU, the first in a series of young-adult contemporary Jane Austen retellings received a starred Kirkus review and was praised for being a “unique twist on a classic” and offering “a compelling action of action, drama and love.”
She’s rather enamored of being contacted by readers and hopes you’ll oblige.
