(First Posting) New Novels On My Shelf

Hello everyone! I'm really excited to share this post with all of you. It's my first post for this new feature: New Novels On My Shelf. In this post, I will be sharing what new novels I was provided, from publishers from NetGalley; from Blog Tours I am participating in; what reads I got notified that were free or a good deal on Amazon (thank you to E-News Reader & Free E-Books Daily). Also I will share what I purchased. These novels you will see below are ones I received in the last week or from almost two weeks ago, and it might be a longer post, so get ready!

Let me know what your thoughts are, if you like this type of Post, and if you have/have not read the Titles I have posted here. I would love to read what you have to say, thank you! :)

**Also, want to mention that these Titles I am sharing, I will Review in the future, in the upcoming months, and I will give a truthful Review. I do all of this with my time, and love it!**

From NetGalley
(Thank you to the Publishers for providing an ARC copy!)

Pushing The Limits. This is a novel I have heard a lot about, and have heard it's quite good. I can't wait to read this one!

*Here's the synopsis via Goodreads:

"I won't tell anyone, Echo. I promise." Noah tucked a curl behind my ear. It had been so long since someone touched me like he did. Why did it have to be Noah Hutchins? His dark brown eyes shifted to my covered arms. "You didn't do that-did you? It was done to you?" No one ever asked that question. They stared. They whispered. They laughed. But they never asked.

So wrong for each other...and yet so right.

No one knows what happened the night Echo Emerson went from popular girl with jock boyfriend to gossiped-about outsider with "freaky" scars on her arms. Even Echo can't remember the whole truth of that horrible night. All she knows is that she wants everything to go back to normal. But when Noah Hutchins, the smoking-hot, girl-using loner in the black leather jacket, explodes into her life with his tough attitude and surprising understanding, Echo's world shifts in ways she could never have imagined. They should have nothing in common. And with the secrets they both keep, being together is pretty much impossible.Yet the crazy attraction between them refuses to go away. And Echo has to ask herself just how far they can push the limits and what she'll risk for the one guy who might teach her how to love again.

Risking It All is an Adult Romance Novel with Mature situations, so I would recommend ages 18 and older. This novel seemed intriguing when I first read the synopsis.

Here it is (from Goodreads)

Kennedy Monroe barely got her foot in her college dorm her freshman year before she was being warned about a certain dark-haired, blue-eyed self-proclaimed Casanova. There were only so many tales of heartache – and incredibly steamy nights – she could listen to before she started to believe them. But after a run in with the most sought after college womanizer, her ill feelings toward him change and soon a friendship forms that surprises everyone.

Twelve years later Kennedy and Memphis Adams are closer than ever - and only friends despite what those around them think, including Kennedy’s boyfriend Ian Brooks. When Kennedy accepts an invitation to vacation in Alaska from Memphis, her relationship with Brooks is tested as is her restraint when it comes to the desire she has always had for her best friend.

Alone with Memphis in Alaska, Kennedy finds it increasingly harder to ignore temptation and wants nothing more than to give into her secret desires with the one man that has always been off limits. But is one night of passion worth the possible risk of losing their friendship over?

Feeling torn between doing the right thing and doing what she wants, Kennedy fears losing her best friend. She knows she needs to sort out her feelings for the two men in her life and deal with the consequences of her actions, but how can she when everything seems to be falling apart so fast? And how much can Memphis take before he’s pushed too far and can no longer take Kennedy’s inability to make a decision about what and who she wants?

Kennedy discovers the harsh reality of how one night can change everything and leave her risking it all.

Future Blog Tours I will Participate In
(These are Arcs/Books I have received from the Authors/Publishers and I thank them so much and look forward to the upcoming tours!)

Oh my! This is one I can't wait to read!...!
I will be touring with Shane @ Itching For Books, and my host date will be on August 22, so hopefully you come back as I will be sharing my Review and a Music Playlist, yes a playlist. I will be picking out songs that I think would go well with the story. Let me know what you think of that when I post it, again on August 22. Really stoked for that! :)

I like a good Romance story, I do, and from the synopsis, this looked like a very good one. Read The Synopsis Here. I'm excited to be a part of this tour and will be Reviewing and I think the Author will be providing a Guest Post. This will be happening on August 25, so hope you come back and visit!

Ok, I'm excited about this tour. For one, this will be my first time reading a M. Leighton novel, and I have heard she's an awesome author!! Second, I have heard about this series, and I've read all the blurbs and they sound beyond amazing! Click Here To Read The Blurb for the First Book. From There You can find the other two. In this tour, promoted by ATOMR Book Tours, I will be reviewing the whole series, 1-3. I simply cannot wait, and to share my Reviews with you, so look for that here on August 27

I love to read stories that are set in College. Maybe because I'm currently in college, but some novels I've read, like Beautiful Disaster, Across The Hall, Thoughtless/Effortless(Reviews will come soon!) and Gabriel's Inferno have all been absolutely wonderful, and I hope to read more in the future. Reflection sounds so intriguing and mysterious as the main character, Heather, starts her new life as a freshman in college, and starts to have a good experience, but then she learns that she has been a coma (what!) and all that she went through in college was all a dream. Now this is really eye catchy stuff, and I can't wait to dive into this story! Click here to read the full synopsis. You can read my Review here on September 6!

Ok, I have to mention, when I first saw this cover, I thought it looked pretty hot, as you see on the right hand side. To see the full cover and synopsis Click Here! This looks to be a superb paranormal romance/New Adult Novel. Ooo New Adult. Let me just say that I'm so happy/ecstatic on this newly recognized genre, New Adult, as some stories that I've read so far, that fall into this category, are just a perfect read that, might not be recommended for a younger crowd, but are not seen as an Adult read. I like that it's in the middle and the characters are sorta near my age, so I will be looking for more upcoming New Adult Books!
Anyways, you can see my Review here on September 13! :)

Dreamwalker is another Paranormal Romance that seems intriguing. Read the synopsis here. You can find my Review here on September 14!

These are novels that I received in the mail, and I want to say a thank you to all the Authors/Publishers that sent these; I look forward to reading them for the CLP Blog Tours.
- There will be a Guest Post & Review for Picture Perfect, here on September 19
- There will be a Guest Post, Excerpt & Review for Blue Aspen, here on October 7!
- There will a Guest Post & Review for Living In Glass Houses, here on October 19!

Some Kindle Deals/Freebies
(I subscribe to receive a daily newsletter from Ereader News Today, and basically they mention which Titles have a good deal or are free (Kindle Edition) on Amazon that day. I think it's a great resource, and you never know, you might find some new novels that you never heard of, but glad you do now!)
The synopsis really got me interested in this novel. Charlotte runs away from a horrible situation and is under police protection, and Nick is a young officer that looks after her, and with their time together, does a love connection form? Hmm well I cannot wait to read Loverboy, and let you know more about this novel. Click Here to read more about it.

You see wings on the guy? Instantly I was interested to read the synopsis, and yup there's some angels that are called 'Guardians.' I'm always interested to read stories like this, and will read this one soon. Click Here to check out the synopsis.

The synopsis from this novel got to me, and instantly I felt for this character, Flo, and I haven't even read the book! Besides Flo going through tough times, and interestingly sees auras, she faces trouble, as she is on some sort of list that is out to get her. Wow, this looks really promising and this is one I will read soon.

I always like finding new reads, and this one just grabbed me. It's set in a college setting. It has athletes, rock musicians, and well love. The synopsis seems good to me, so I hope to read this one in the next couple of months. Click Here to read about it!

My Own Purchases
Both of these novels both surround some kind of unfortunate situation. I'm interested on how these characters overcome their troubles, and how they find some sort of good that lightens their spirits up; how they find their rays of hope. I really like realistic fiction, and look forward to reading these two.
