Alyssa Rose Ivy is a
Young Adult and New Adult author who loves to weave stories with romance and a
southern setting. Although raised in the New York area, she fell in love with
the South after moving to New Orleans for college. After years as a perpetual
student, she turned back to her creative side and decided to write. She lives
in North Carolina with her husband and two young children, and she can usually
be found with a cup of coffee in her hand.
My Mini Review
I really enjoyed reading this second book, in the Crescent Chronicles. I liked how there were a lot of scenes of Allie acclimating to college life: classes, parties and gaining a sort of independence. Also, there's Levi, and after their relationship sort of went on the rocks in book 1, you'll definitely read them trying to get back together, even now that Allie knows a whole lot more about The Society, and Levi's potential role in the future. I have to say, the ending sent me off in a loop, because there's a character, that was close to Allie once, that is actually a threat to The Society, and the last page, definitely had me wanting to read more, so I look forward to book 3 :)
