Hello!
For about a month now, Stuck In YA Books, has been hosting a blog tour of Julie Rieman Duck’s A Place In This Life. I encourage you to read this story, as it was just a beautiful, touching love story that will for sure make your heart melt. I do not have a written review like I originally planned to do, but I do have an excerpt from this delightful story, and you will read for yourself what Duck has written.
Excerpt:
“It was fascinating to look at Todd up close and feel something I’d never felt before. Kind of like a warm ache that started in my stomach and branched all over my body. It was as if someone turned on the light in my pelvis, and I felt compelled to kiss him.
He didn’t see it coming when I leaned over and pressed my lips to his, but he quickly responded, pulling me down onto the rock. At first his mouth gently parted my lips, his tongue slowly exploring before he inhaled sharply and pushed it down my throat. I sat up, gagging...”
This Or That:
• Thursday or Sunday?
Thursday, because it's loaded with tons of Friday anticipation!
• Cat or Dog?
Dog, because they want to be with you all of the time, no matter how you look or smell.
• Winter or Summer?
I like Fall! Cool, crisp and you can wear a t-shirt or long-sleeved shirt and be comfortable.
• Lord Of The Rings or Harry Potter?
Rowling, all the way. Believe it or not, I haven't read her books. I need to put those on my checklist.
• Writing Inside or Outside?
Writing inside, with a view of the outside.
• England or Italy for a vacation?
Hmm, I'd like both, considering I've never been out of the US. Definitely England first!
• Chocolate or Popcorn?
Chocolate. Duh!
• The Holiday or Love Actually?
Splendour in the Grass - if you want to feel the love, the pain, the emotion, you must see this classic movie with Warren Beatty and Natalie Wood. Must.
So, I hope you enjoy these two fun sections, and I have also provided a link so you can purchase this book on Kindle via Amazon. Also, please look at the other postings on this book tour, as others have shared how wonderful this book is! :)
